Ron Sheppard

Partner Ron Sheppard is 64 years old and started working in optics in 1964. He was a pre-reg Dispensing Optician with Dollond & Aitchison, qualifying in 1968. He went on to a variety of rôles, including Area Manager for Silverthornes and Sangers. He became a Non-Executive Director of John Chapman Opticians in 1984, before going on to National Training Manager positions with both Specsavers and Optical Express. More recently, he has been Operations & Database Manager for Specialist Data Solutions, the optical software company. A well-known face throughout the industry, he brings over forty years' experience to his work for lookahead Consulting.
